When I was studying abroad in Vietnam, I saw a Shimizu signboard for Metro construction project and learned about Shimizu Corporation.
Motivated by the desire to work for a Japanese company thriving in Vietnam, I joined Shimizu Vietnam.
With the extensive support from my colleagues, I am now enjoying working in a professional environment that upholds Shimizu’s culture and heritage.

Before joining Shimizu Vietnam, I worked for a Japanese M&E subcontractor and gained experience in projects such as airports, high-rise buildings, and factories. However, working at Shimizu Vietnam really gives me the opportunity to develop my technical and soft skills, especially my management skills. Through that, I have become respected by partners, subordinates, and subcontractors, and trusted by the clients.
I believe that by working with Shimizu Mind, I can bring win-win value to all my partners.

I have been with Shimizu Vietnam since 2011, it is 13 years now. I was fortunate to have been trusted by the leadership to handle various roles and tasks, ranging from Planning, Quantity Surveyor, Site Manager, to Project Manager. Every job position comes with challenges and new things to learn, helping one to accumulate knowledge and improve oneself. I have advice for young engineers at Shimizu Vietnam: you should be proud and honored when your superiors assign you important and challenging tasks. It is a golden opportunity to assert oneself and accumulate knowledge. When you believe you can handle difficult tasks, you will succeed. Otherwise, if you think you cannot, even the simplest task will seem impossible, and you have failed before you even started."

I started working at Shimizu Vietnam in 2011.
Working at a Japanese construction company after graduating from university is my wish and dream as well as many other young people. While working at Shimizu Vietnam, I held many positions: site engineer, site manager, etc. A professional working environment with fair competition and the efforts and contributions of employees are always recognized is what I have appreciated during my 14 years working at Shimizu. "Work hard and dedicate yourself, all your efforts will be recognized." - that is the advice

It’s 13 years since I joined Shimizu Vietnam. I have chance to contribute on various projects including HCM metro, high-rise buildings, fit-out work as CAD operator, Planning engineer and BIM coordinator. I realized that Shimizu Vietnam & Shimizu Corporation has advanced technology in construction, we always research and develop to apply new ICT tools on construction sites. On the other hand, the working space is very friendly, where employees can share how they wish to develop in the organization.
