Thai Shimizu Mangrove Planting No.21

Samut Songkhram, Thailand — March 15th, 2025 – Thai Shimizu organized the “Mangrove Planting No.21” activity by Thai Shimizu staff, and their families planted 500 mangroves with the community of Klong Kone Mangrove Forest Conservation Center on March 15th, 2025

Mr. Hirose Manabu, the president of the Thai Shimizu, gave the opening speech about the importance of the activity: “Planting mangrove forests is an important ecosystem restoration for natural resource conservation. Not only does it help protect the coast from erosion. It is also a habitat for aquatic animals and plays a role in absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. which is important for maintaining balance in the global environment.”

For this activity, there is also knowledge of how to plant seedlings and how to care for mangrove forests to grow sustainably by experts who joined to give advice

The management team of Thai Shimizu company with volunteer staff, and CSR committee organized volunteer activities “Mangrove Planting No.21” The purpose of the activity is to restore and conserve the mangrove forest, which is one of the important marine ecosystems, at Khlong Kone Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, Khlong Khon Subdistrict, Samut Songkhram on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
