COMMITMENT TO ANTI-BRIBERY OF SHIMIZU CORPORATION JAKARTA & PT SBCK

POLICY

The Company has made a commitment to conducting all business of the Company in an honest, ethical, and professional manner wherever the company operates. This Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy (“Policy”) is made as a clear demonstration of that commitment.

  1. We are committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented. We have zero tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities (4 NOs: NO Bribery, NO Kickback, NO Gift and NO Luxurious Hospitality). We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, regardless of the country in which we operate.

  2. We will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions of the country in which we operate. We are bound by the laws of Indonesia, including the ISO 37001:2016.

  3. We recognize that bribery and corruption are punishable by years of imprisonment and fine. If our company is discovered to have taken part in corrupt activities, we may be subjected to an unlimited fine, be excluded from tendering for public contracts, and face serious damage to our reputation. With this in mind, we commit to preventing bribery and corruption in our business and take our legal responsibilities seriously.

SCOPE AREA

This Policy applies in Indonesia and applies to all individuals who work at any level in the Company, including other parties who have cooperation with the Company.

MONITORING

The company will periodically evaluate all policies including this Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy and policies relating to the systems of reporting to ensure effective implementation. The Anti Bribery Compliance Function (ABCF) will report to the Management regarding the application of this Policy and will do so at least once per year.

We’re committed to running our business to high ethical and legal standard and want everyone to have an open, transparent, and safe place to work. We take all case related to fraud, embezzlement, harassment, corruption, collusion, and bribery very seriously, whether it is committed by colleague, supplier/subcontractor, client, business partner, even our competitor. In line with those commitments, we expect colleagues and others that we deal with, who have serious concerns about any aspect of the Company’s operation to come forward and raise their concerns. We recognise that most cases will be submitted on a confidential basis and as such we operate a ‘Whistleblowing tools' by email to jakarta.crisiscenter@shimz.biz .
