Faced with a need to expand its high-precision manufacturing activity, Advantest asked Shimizu North America to triple the size of its plant without destroying the existing brick building’s architectural charm, or disrupting its sophisticated operations. Meticulously minimizing noise, vibration, and dust, Shimizu North America was able to complete the expansion as well as add a conductive floor that eliminates static electricity. Shimizu North America’s careful coordination ensured completion of the project without affecting the day-to-day operation of the plant.
