Shimizu Investment (Asia) Pte Ltd (SIA) is the real estate investment arm of Shimizu Corporation, one of Japan's leading design-build general contractors.
Founded in 1804 by a carpenter, Kisuke Shimizu, Shimizu Corporation has since been dedicated to constructing high-quality, reliable structures. Today, the company continues to invest in technologies to meet the evolving needs of its clients and society.
The Investment & Development Division (IDD), established in 2002, has grown its real estate development business firmly both in Japan and overseas, focusing on a diverse portfolio including offices, logistics facilities, hotels, and residential properties. IDD conducts a wide variety of business activities, leveraging group synergy, from land acquisition to property development, and from operation to sale after completion.
SIA was incorporated in Singapore in 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Shimizu IDD, with the purpose of pursuing real estate investments in the Asia-Pacific region. Since then, SIA has steadily expanded its business scale, now spanning Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Rooted in the group’s extensive expertise in construction, SIA is proudly committed to making positive impacts on local communities, adapting to each country’s social and economic landscape.
