Shimizu Corporation signed the contract funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the Expansion of Existing Depot in Baclaran and Construction of a New Satellite Depot in Zapote under the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project.
The expansion project will cover 42,000 square meters at the existing Baclaran Depot and a new development of 40,000 square meters for the New Satellite Depot in Zapote.
