Green Cycling Volunteer Activity
In early November, Shimizu China organized a volunteer activity, cycling around Xujiahui, to publicize the idea of low-carbon and green cycling. Through the activity, we want to promote people's awareness of environmental protection.
We set out from the company, cycling through Guangqi Park, Xuhui Middle School, and finally arrived at Xujiahui Park.
Along the way, we received warm welcome and active participation from the citizens. While we were publicizing our ideas at the gate of Xuhui Middle School, many people were gathering there. After our explanation, the parents also told their children to value environmental protection and our mother planet. In the end, we collected quite a lot of signatures.
Cycling is beneficial not only to environmental protection but also to our health. Through cycling, we can experience the everyday change of the city and the alternation of the seasons, which is quite meaningful.
Through this event, we appeal to everyone that we all have the responsibility to protect the environment and we can also achieve that in our daily life. Cycling is a good way, isn't it?
